In this English tour we will explore the astounding interplay of art, literature, moon trips, and transhumanism. Trips to the Moon are a long-standing topic of the fantastic literature and related illustrations. The coverage of this topic in art and literature underwent a dramatic transformation during the industrial revolution, with its wide use of steam engines, technological advancements, and scientific discoveries. Subsequently, the emerging new perspectives on Science, Technology, and Engineering had a huge impact on early space missions, and presently the tight relation is undergoing a revival due to the advent of space tourism and teh interest of industrial tycoons in space travel and transhumanism.

We’ll finish off the tour by joining the SteamPunk picnic in the Clara Zetkin Park.
